We're ALIVE!

Well we've been MIA for the past few months. I have had every intention of posting something, anything really since Christmas but everytime I have started, I've gotten pulled away doing something else. We've been busy to say the least and I really do not have a lot of pictures to show for it, I guess we've just been busy doing things that do not require picture taken :) But here are a few pictures I have taken in the last couple of months. In January we head to Gillette to meet our friends Joe and Adrienne. We stayed a water park and the kids had so much fun playing in the water. We got a few pictures of them...but it was so hot and muggy in their the lens kept fogging up :)

January was a busy month of getting back into a routine of school and work. Jyllian went back to preschool and has been doing so awesome. She is definitly showing signs that she is ready for KINDERGARTEN! Yes I just said that word--I still can't believe it but I am happy that she will be in the same school as me and across the hall I might add so I can check in on her at any time that I want. I also got very active in MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), a group for mainly stay at home moms, but it has since branched out to working moms (yay for me!) We started up a night group in December and had our first meeting in January. Although we did not get the turn out we had really hoped for, we did get some moms interested and have been busy with it twice a month ever since. It is fun to get together with other moms and visit and do crafts as well as have speakers come in. We are planning our first fundraiser...a 5K on May 1st and have been super busy preparing for it!
February brought more of the same. School, gymnastics, work, MOPS, daycare.
Finally March arrived and with it came SPRING (we are sooo ready) and SPRING BREAK! We ventured to Denver for a few days with our friends to do the "kid" stuff. We stayed a motel with adjoining rooms, and went to the zoo, museum of nature and science, aquarium, Chuck E Cheese, and out to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. Throw in there some shopping and that pretty much sums up our Spring Break! We had fun. I hope you enjoy a few of the pictures I took while there...

We came back to Douglas and turned around the went to Casper on April 1st to welcome home Justin's cousin Jesse who just returned from his 2nd tour to Iraq. We were so proud to welcome him and PowderRiver Cowboys HOME!
We also were able to celebrate my mompom's BIRTHDAY on April 1st. We took her to Olive Garden and after an hour wait we had the most delicious meal!
We are looking forward to Easter this weekend. Justin's dad will be coming to spend Easter with us and we will eat at moms. We're thankful that we have such a wonderful family to spend this blessed holiday with. Let's remember the real reason we celebrate EASTER!
Love,
The Scott's
