Baby Number 2 on the Way!
We thought it was time that we could let everyone know that we are expecting baby number two! We are super excited! Jyllian is ready to be a big sister. We are 12 weeks this week so the first trimester is almost over. We are due May 8th, 2008. We've had our first ultrasound a few weeks ago. All looked great. We've had 2 Dr. appointments now. So far we are looking good. The baby is growing right were s/he needs to be and we got to hear the heartbeat last week at our Dr. apt. It is the most amazing thing ever to hear. We will have another ultrasound next week and I will try and post some other pictures. In the picture this time all you can really see is a blob :) But s/he is our little blob :) and we are already in love with him/her.
Our feelings on what the sex??? Well we think its a boy--as this pregnancy has been SOOO different than with Jyllian, but then again every pregnancy is different so who really knows. We will find out at 20 weeks as long as we have a coooperative child this time around. Jyllian never let us find out so we were surprised.
I've been feeling pretty icky--sick a lot and very exhausted. Just ready for 2nd trimester so I can get a little more energy and not be soo cranky! Poor Justin and kids at school. But we will get through it.
Hope you enjoy the pics of the ultrasound! Its not the greatest, but at least you can see that we are indeed pregnant! Yay!!!

State Fair
In August, Douglas hosts the Wyoming State Fair. Of course those of you from around here already know that, but for those of you who live far away wouldn't. Anyways, State Fair always brings: rodeos, food, games, carnivals, crafts and music. We generally head down there at least a few times to enjoy the fair. Last year was Jyllian's first fair experience as the year before we just didn't go. She of course was way too small to be able to ride any of the rides and figured this year she would be too, but we took her anyway. She loved the fair. She enjoyed seeing all the animals, listening to the music. NASA had a very cool display this year where you got to go into a 3-D simulator that showed what they expect to be able to do in the next few years, such as land on Mars. It was quite interesting. When we got to the carnival all of the rides said you had to be a certain height and we thought well she won't be able to ride them this year and we weren't too sure that she would even be interested in it. Boy were we wrong. She was very interested and excited to get on the rides. She was allowed to ride the carousel, and the boats and go through the Fun House. She was too small to ride most of them, but we rode the ones she could over and over again. We are looking forward to next year when she is able to ride more of the rides and enjoy it even more.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. The other little girl in the pictures is my friend Missie's little girl, Brooke.

July Birthdays
Happy Birthday to Justin and Shane. Both their birthday were in July so we got to celebrate twice! Jyllian was not quite so sure of it being THEIR birthdays and not hers. She kept saying "Mine Birthday, its mine birthday." So of course Justin and Shane had to let her help them with the opening of their presents. She really enjoyed that. When the presents were all opened she would say "Presents all gone!" We had to get her a special bag and "present" too so because she thought all the gifts she opened were hers. It was pretty cute.
For Shane's birthday we went out to dinner at The Labonte. For Justin's I bought a prime rib from our local grocery store and we had Prime Rib at our house. Plenty to eat for both occasions.
Below are pictures...

Family Vacation
This year we took our Family Vacation down to Colorado. We spent time in the Denver Area going to see all the sights. We went to the Downtown Aquarium, The Children's Museum, and Colorado Rockies Game, The Butterfly Pavilion, Casa Bonitas and lots more. After we left Denver we went to Estes Park. The drive up was absolutly beautiful as was Estes Park itself. I told Justin I would live here in a heartbeat. However housing is extremely expensive so I don't see that happening anytime soon. We had a wonderful vacation. We have lots of pictures so I will attach them below. Enjoy!
