Cute Pics

Not to toot my own horn or anything but I do think my kids are pretty cute :)
Jyllian got to go on a special date last night--she got to go watch Horton Hears a Who with her Grammie. Mom came and picked her up for her date and Jyllian was all dressed up. So I have some pictures of that. I also am sharing some cute pictures of Jyllian and Cohl. Hope you enjoy.
We are doing better. I am getting more and more energy every day and am finally off bedrest. YEAH!!!! I had my follow-up apt with my Dr. and we are not sure why it all happened but it seems it is all fixed. So that is good. I wish I knew why it had happened but I guess it is just one of those freak things and it happened to me :) Lucky ME! But I am okay that is what counts. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts/prayers. Hope this finds you doing AWESOME!

On the Up and Up!

Some of you know about the problems I've had, some don't. I won't go into great detail but will update those of you who don't know whats been going on. On Sunday (Mother's Day) I woke up in the middle of the night hemmorhaging. At first I didn't think it was that big of a deal but was a little freaked out. I tried to get ahold of my mom but she wasn't answering the phone, so I called labor and delivery. The nurse told me to get to the ER as soon as possible. Tried to talk me into having the ambulance come and get me, but I honestly live 2 blocks away from the hospital. I had Justin go to my mom's and wake her up to come take care of the kids. We got to the hospital and luckily they took my situation seriously. They gave me IV's in both arms, examined me and got my dr called and in to perform a D&C to try and stop the bleeding. I got into surgery by 6am. I lost a lot of blood during the whole ordeal and ended up having get bags of blood. I went into shock during the surgery and when I came to I was being put into an ambulance to be transfered to Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. My Dr. was sitting right by my side along with other EMT's. I wasn't real sure what was going on but she explained that the surgery didn't stop the bleeding so she wanted me to get to a hospital that could perform an emergency hysterectomy if needed. So I went to Casper and spent Monday and Tuesday up there before they finally let me come home. Luckily I didn't need to have the hysterectomy, and the medication they gave me while in Casper helped to slow the bleeding down enough to be able to send me home. So thank goodness all is okay. I am on strict bedrest right now, not able to do much at all, but also do not feel like doing anything. I am very weak and have no energy. I hate not being able to do much with my kids and while in the hosptial not being able to hold my babies. Gosh it was so hard. I just ask that if you could please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that everything is finally over with and we will be on the up and up!
Luckily my mom was able to take some days off to take care of Jyllian and Cohl while we were in Casper. Justin has been awesome even though he hasn't gotten much sleep. God has truly blessed us with a wonderful baby as Cohl has been doing awesome and sleeping good and eating good for us. I am not sure that I would be able to do it all if Cohl was a fussy baby. Jyllian is such a great help. I know she is ready for mommy to be back to her old self and be able to play with her. Its so hard not to be able to pick her up.
So that is what has been new with me. I am hoping to be feeling like my old self again soon! Until then I will just keep truckin' along waiting for that day to come :)

Happy Mother's Day

What a wonderful mother's day I had this year! I was able to spend most of the day with just my litle family--Justin, Jyllian, Cohl and myself. We then met up with mom and Shane later in the day to go out to eat and do a little shopping before coming back home. I enjoyed my day and wanted to share some pictures of our day!
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! Hope you had a great day!

Our Family Update

He has arrived! It was a pretty quick and easy labor--they broke my water at 7:30 and I delivered him at 10:41 after only pushing for 10 minutes at the most. All went pretty well. I didn't need pitocin, so it wasn't a true induction. I was thankfulHe is perfect. Had a little trouble keeping his body temperature regulated but that was all better by Thursday. He is a little jaundiced so we have had to bring him back up to the hospital daily. The yellow in his skin and eyes seems to be going away day by day, and his levels are little down so hopefully we are in the clear. He is continuing to loose weight--all due to his jaundice as he doesn't have the best appetite.
He is a great baby. He sleeps great--even during the night. He feeds okay--still is only a snacker--doesn't eat a lot at one time. At night he goes 4-5 hours before he wants to eat again. Its been great :)
I am beginning to feel better. My blood pressure is still a little high and I still have a pounding headache--3 weeks of a daily headache is getting old but hopefully once my BP starts to go down my headache will go away. I know that once my headache goes away I will feel back to my old self--headaches just kind of make you feel icky.
Jyllian is a great big sister. She is a big helper and loves to hold her baby brother. She is a little jealous--which is understandable and has begun to be a little pill in the past two days but I know this will come and go and we can get through it. She is a mommy's girl so mommy giving attention to someone else is a huge deal for her. She still loves her brother though and just adores him.
Justin is adjusting to be a new dad again. He has taken some time off of work which has been great. He doesn't go back until the 3 week in May so he had 20 days off. Its been nice having him home and he has enjoyed spending time with the family. He is such a great daddy! I couldn't ask for a better husband or dad. I am truly blessed!
So I think that is all for now. I will try and get new pictures up as we take them. I love to take pictures-especially of my kids so I will be taking plenty. I am sure you will get sick of seeing new pictures. I will hopefully be better at keeping our blog updated.

Today is it!

Well we've waited 9 months--well actually 38 weeks and we are going to finally meet out littlest boy tomorrow. We are sooo excited. Its been a rough pregnancy--terrible morning sickness for the first couple of months, sick with severe bronchitis/phenomonia and was hospitalized, pre-term labor and was put on medication and bedrest for 3 weeks, and then preeclamsia and back on bedrest. Needless to say I am tired of being pregnant and ready to meet my Cohl.
We go in tonight at 5:00 to start the induction process. We will see what all that entails :) I am nervous but know all will be fine.
We took Jyllian fishing today and just enjoyed being outside and spending time with her. We got some cute pictures! Hope you enjoy. Will post more pictures after tomorrow of our little Cohl!

Easter

We had a great Easter. Due to Justin refinishing our floors we had Easter at mom's. Shane joined us both for the dying of Easter Eggs on Saturday night and spent the day with us on Easter Sunday. Jyllian enjoyed looking for her baskets hidden by the Easter Bunny. As you can see the Easter Bunny SPOILED her! We also took her to the mall and let her visit the Easter Bunny. It was a good day--good food, good people and lots of fun.
Because we have soo many pictures I did a slide-show.

It's Been Awhile....

So I didn't post anything the entire month of March--what a slacker I am. Or maybe nothing was going on???? Either way I am sorry its been so long.
Let me think back to March and see if there is something that happened that I can share....we did red0 our hard wood floors. Well by we I mean Justin :) I was on Spring Break for work so it worked out great that I was able to watch Jyllian and stay at my moms while Justin sanded, stained and polyurathained our floors in the living room and hallway. They turned out great. We really need to do our bedroom and the kids room but....just not the time right now. I also got the baby's room all prepared~because we only have 2 bedrooms upstairs and we don't feel comfortable spliting our family up yet we are putting the baby in the same room as Jyll's stuff. She doesn't sleep in there anyways so we figured what does it matter. At least we have a bed in there in case we just want to sleep in the same room as the baby at night. So we've divided the room up and I think it looks good. We are hoping to sell our house within the next few months and hopefully will be having a house built that has 3 bedrooms on one floor so we can all have our own bedroom :) Thats the plan.
Soo here are some pictures of the floors!

Our Little Fish!

We've been taking Jyllian swimming where my mom works in the hospital. They have a therapy pool which is very warm--it feels like bath water and has tons of fun toys to play with. Justin has been working with Jyllian on her swimming and she is getting really good. For Christmas Ed and Linda got Jyllian a swimsuit that has the floaties in it. This is great for Jyll in water that is way over her head. We got some really cute pictures of her swimming yesterday when we went up there. I am also going to try and put a video of her on it too. I am not sure what happened to the sound~it was there until I uploaded the pictures!?!?! I'll try and figure it out. Hope you enjoy!!!

Family Update

I haven't posted in awhile...needless to say we have all been busy since Christmas. It seems like just yesterday it was Christmas morning, and here next week will be Valentine's Day. Where does the time go?? But believe me I am glad it is going fast--we are anxious for May to get here. It seems to not get here soon enough, but we enjoying our time with our little Jyllie Bean and each other before our world gets turn upside down again with a new baby. All is going well in the pregnancy area...I am in week 28 so have officially made it to the 3rd and final trimester! Yay!!! As everyone at work tells me, I finally look pregnant--not sure if thats a good thing or not. I definatly feel pregnant and with this pregnancy being sooo different than with Jyllian I am feeling all sorts of things I never did with her. I have 2 more months of working before I start my maternity leave. I plan to be done at 37 weeks to give me some time off before the baby comes and after. We are done with school on the 29th of May so if I worked up to my due date I would only take 4 weeks off so I had 2 extra weeks that I am using prior to delivering. And if we are lucky we will deliver early and I will have that precious little boy in my arms. Jyllian is getting really excited for him to be here although she is convinced she is having a baby sister. She looks at my tummy and says "Hi baby sister" it is too cute. I know she will be a great big sister. She keeps telling us she will help by getting her a baby bottle, and her blankie. I am nervous how she will be when he actually gets here but we will see. We are glad we chose Douglas this time around as the convience of having our Dr. right here is sooo nice. I am sure it will be nice when we actually deliver as well.
Justin is staying busy with work as well. It was so nice at Christmas time for him to have time off. We really enjoyed spending the time off together since I was off too. He has been busy training other new deputies and is still very active in the Search and Rescue as well. It keeps him very busy but he sure enjoys it. They changed the work times that they work so he now has 2 shifts days and nights. Days goes from 6am-4pm and Nights start at 5pm and go to 3am. Although he hasn't worked too many of the day shifts we sure enjoy him being home at 4pm. Jyllian loves having her daddy around. Nights are hard on us all. Jyllian doesn't understand why dad has to be at work when she goes to bed, and then she doesn't just let him sleep in the next morning-instead gets up at her regular time. I come home at 4:00 so I get to see him for about an hour before he heads back to work. So we don't see a whole lot of him on nights. I am looking forward to being home for 4 months once the baby gets here just so I am home when he is off too. That will be nice.
Jyllian is growing like a weed. She is constantly amazing us with all she knows. Gosh she is sooo smart and we have no idea where she is getting it from. She comes up with the randomest things to say....like yesterday my mom was over for dinner and Jyllian looked at me and said "She is your mom?" A 2 year old thinking that concrete is amazing. She speaks in complete sentences majority of the time. She can talk on the phone to people and carry on quite the conversation. She most definatly can listen to choices and make a choice she wants where most children this age will just repeat the choice that is stated last. I wish we could admit that she is smart because we work with her daily and everything she knows if because of us--but with Justin having her on his days off, I having her on mine, daycare in between and mom always being around its no telling where she is getting it all from. I do have to say she is a huge fan Noggin (TV program) which is like preschool on TV everyday. She picks up a lot of things from that program. She can sing her ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Old McDonald, Row Row Row your Boat, The Wheels on the Bus. It is too cute to listen to her sing. I am hoping to get a video of her on here soon. We have been terrible at taking pictures lately but will try to get some new ones on here soon. She is just too funny. She keeps us laughing :)
I don't think much else is going on in our busy lives. We work, we play with Jyll...it keeps us busy enough we don't need much else.
Hopefully I will be better at keeping this updated as the baby gets closer to arrival and then most definatly after he is here. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers that all continues to go well. Know we think of you often and miss you all!
Love,
Kylea, Justin, Jyllian and Littlest Boy!

Christmas

Well another Christmas has come and gone. It always makes me sad once all the gifts are unwrapped and you pick up the mess--it goes so quickly. But this year was the best Christmas we've had in awhile due to Jyllian having such a great time with it all. She was excited about Santa, and opening presents. She was excited about all of the gifts she got. She just had a blast. She was definatly spoiled again by Santa, Grammie, Uncle Shane and of course us. But its easy to do. Next year will be fun with two little ones!
We spent Sunday night at Mom's house-eating dinner and opening a few presents there before Justin/I went to watch Fred Claus. Very cute movie by the way. Monday was spent finishing wrapping, buying last minute items for dinner and such and then going out to Shanes for Christmas Eve. We had dinner out there and of course opened more gifts. Justin got what he really wanted--a new coffee pot that also makes espresso and cappuccino. He has had fun today making cappuccino's and hot chocolate for everyone. I got a countertop oven which I have always been wanting. These were both from Shane. Jyllian got Disney Princess Lego's and VSmile Game System which Jyllian loved. She also got the VSmile Whizkid from Shane but opened that this morning. All in all it was a wonderful Christmas Eve capped off by a snowstorm that made sure we would have a White Christmas. Once we got home we got milk and cookies ready for Santa, and of course carrotts for his reindeer. Justin and Jyllian tracked Santa to see where he was at with his delivery of toys and we headed off to bed.
We awoke early this morning to see if Santa had come--and he had. Jyllian got a Barbie Jammin' Jeep which she had been saying for weeks now that she wanted, a beautiful rocking horse that my dad made for her, a digital camera, preschool learning center, clothes, babies, books and much much more. A very merry Christmas was had by all.
Hope your Christmas was wonderful and enjoy the slideshow.

My Little Pony LIVE!

We took Jyllian to her first live show...My Little Pony LIVE! It was at the Casper Events Center and she absolutely loved it. I enjoyed it as well. I think this will be the beginning to many more shows that Jyllian and I go to.
Because of the lights some of the pictures did'nt turn out the best but still you can get the idea :)
